Had the exact same thought. Approximately 400km range. If I am interpreting the information correctly, an hour of fast charging gets you 250km or so.

Ironically, I happened to see one of these vehicles for the very first time today and thought it was pretty cool! Only to find out the GM plant was laying off employees due to slow orders ☹️

Above seems US only but found this for CA members:

Costco Canada members can get a discount on the Chevy BrightDrop 600 through its auto program, potentially saving up to $3,000. The base price for a BrightDrop 600 FWD is $80,125, and for an AWD model, it’s $82,725. A fully loaded BrightDrop 600 with AWD and the large battery retails for $89,225. Here’s a breakdown: BrightDrop 600 FWD: $80,125 (base price) BrightDrop 600 AWD: $82,725 (base price) Fully loaded BrightDrop 600 AWD: $89,225 (with large battery) Costco Auto Program Discount: Up to $3,000 Potential Final Price: Up to $78,725 with federal tax credit and Costco discount (assuming maximum discount) To qualify for the Costco discount, you’ll need to be a Costco member in Canada, have a valid driver’s license, register with Costco, and present your authorization number to a participating dealer. You can then purchase, finance, or lease an eligible 2024/2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV, Blazer EV, Silverado EV, Buick Envision, or other eligible vehicles, including the BrightDrop 400 or 600.

Sad. Amazon Canada could buy these instead of Rivians.
