What can we do that harms millions of kids while trying to only harm a few kids? Take away their meals? Great, let’s do that.
Should teach those kids a lesson. Next time don’t be born in America if you want a safe school experience.
There should be a judge immediately putting a stop to this. Republican or Democrat. It should be political suicide to even threaten to take a kids lunch away. What the fuck is wrong with these people?
The cruelty is the point
Trump was always planning on doing this.
He just wanted to threaten the progressive states first.
Maine’s not really what I’d call progressive, they’re with New Hampshire as being pretty centrist.
But I think they’ve been written off by the Republican leadership at this point. New England is too close-knit (especially as we see the US becoming more fragmented by the day) and the rest of the New England states lean progressive, so I think the Republicans see it as a losing battle.
You see, now they can say it’s because of trans people that kids can’t eat lunch, this helps them insight more hate against their current outgroup.
