I recently tried Zerro as I needed a new toothbrush. It is a well-made product and the replaceable toothbrush heads are recyclable through TerraCycle. They also sell the Change Toothpaste tablets. Very happy with my purchase.

I wasn’t aware we had any footwear brands here! Thanks, I’ll keep this in mind for when I need to get a pair.

They’re pretty great and they last forever. And their slippers are super comfy too

If you don’t want your data in America, you can replace Dropbox / Google drive / One Drive with Sync.com

Supposedly 100% Canadian owned and operated with data centres located in Canada.

It has its problems, and isn’t quite as fleshed out as the others, but it ain’t American.

      eazyBackup is also Canadian

They offer backup software and more DIY S3 compatible object storage as a backup option for a lower price as well.

Anything where it’s much heavier write than reads would be a good fit.

If you’re a tomato juice enjoyer, the No Name tomato juice is just as good as the Heinz tomato juice. While Heinz tomato juice is made in Canada, I’d much rather not fork my money to an American brand, even if the No Name stuff could possibly be from the same production facility.

Unless you’re opting for a low-salt diet, I’d suggest avoiding the PC Blue Menu one though. The lack of salt means the drink tastes a lot more bland, and I personally put it to waste as much as I hate to say.

I don’t usually drink tomato (or any) juice on its own, though I do quite like it, but I do occasionally make myself a Caesar. So I might have to try the no name stuff in my next Caesar, though that’ll probably be a while. I usually have one or two in the summer. Probably my favourite cocktail, I just generally prefer straight spirits, wine, or beer.

Hardbite chips. So many flavors and they’re all so delicious. My fave (so far) are the Wild Onion and Yogurt, but the Wasabi and Ranch are a close second.

Love Hardbite chips. I’ve only tried I think their salt and pepper flavour so far but loved the texture of the chips. I’ll be a loyal customer of theirs for sure

Tried the Farm Girl cereal that was mentioned in a post recently. Some thoughts.

    • It was expensive. Like $16 at the store for a 280 gram bag. It looks like it’s much cheaper ($11) on their website, so next time I’ll pick it up from there.
    • This is a low carb, high fibre, high protein cereal so not really a 1:1 replacement for regular breakfast cereals.
    • It’s really filling. Normally cereal leaves me hungry like an hour after, but this one didn’t at all.
    • Tastes pretty good, though it definitely has that ‘sugar substitute’ aftertaste.
    • I tried the chocolate puffs and they were smaller than I expected, but I liked the crunchy texture.

Definitely would recommend if you have dietary restrictions that would make it a good fit for you. (I do, which is why it’s worth the price for me.)

Nice! Thanks for the review! I’m surprised we don’t have more cereal companies/manufacturers in Canada.
