I’m looking to self publish a book, and am looking for book printers that print in Canada.

Companies like Mixam & Sure Print & Design are based in Ontario, but they don’t advertise that their printing is done in Canada. Is it correct to assume that they do it elsewhere, if they don’t clearly disclose where their printing is done?

I just sent an inquiry to Friesen Press, located in Winnipeg. They’re calling me Thursday. I’ll let you know what I find out, or give them a call yourself. They seem nice.

I believe most publishers in Quebec print local so if you can’t find elsewhere it could be a good resource to contact a few pf them to see how you could do your project. The smaller the publisher the better you’ll have their cooperation.

Correct, Quebec has a decently large printing industry due to our publishers prioritising local printers, likely due to the language difference.

Huh, never even considered Quebec. I’ll do some searching. Thanks!

I think it’s correct to assume that in general across most product categories. It’s worth inquiring still perhaps, but just a good base assumption.
