As much as we all don’t love Bluesky I’m just happy to see the city turning away from X. If they start preparing for this transition to another platform, it will be easier for them to theoretically do it again in the future if need be. Half of the challenge is just getting these things off of the ground.

Surely this one won’t turn evil or abuse their position.
Edit: apparently Bluesky is not run by Dorsey anymore, but it is a VC backed US based company.
I would prefer the city to spin up a mastodon instance instead.
