Neopets?! Have you heard of Neopets classic? 👀
I have, although when I looked into it some years back it was available only on a limited basis and you could only apply for an account certain days of the year… it seemed a bit complicated (and was the wrong time of year) so I forgot about it. Wasn’t there some big drama with its creator also?
I was able to recover my OG neopets account a few months ago – from 2001! – and I’ve been enjoying getting back into it.
Yeah, that was true when I found out about it and I haven’t really kept up with it or its discord in a long time so I don’t know if it has changed.
That also means I missed whatever drama it is that you’re talking about. I log in once every few months just for a bit of nostalgia.
I tried accessing my old Neopets account but it doesn’t help that I don’t know what address it was under or what my password was. Not even sure if the account would still exist. I had two Shoyru!
I don’t remember what the drama was offhand – r/hobbydrama has a lot of neopets write-ups, though, and I think I ran into it there.
If you want you can DM me your username and/or pet names (if you remember) and I can check whether they’re still out there!

I just finished playing through The Darkest Faerie for the first time on an emulator a couple weeks ago. I had played it as a kid, but never finished the story.
