Honestly, I felt that the writers also underserved Worf a bit as well. In TNG, he was (or at least, eventually grew into) a consummate professional. In DS9, it seemed like they took this earned sense of professionalism away from him and turned him into a stereotypical Klingon rage machine who was always on the brink of losing control.

        TNG/DS9 mostly

Though I currently do not have any streaming accounts so I might need to pick up the DVDs

You are indeed a wise pancake.

If you’re OK with DVD resolution then grab em. There’s little difference for DS9 as it was only filmed for HDTV and on 4:3 digital tape. For TNG they remastered the whole series from the film originals and it’s available on 1080p Bluray for about a hundred bucks more than the DVDs. Personally i think it’s worth it for the increase in quality but it’s all personal taste.

I think I always knew this … your comment just made me realize it more

I’m on Enterprise (ENT) now after just completing DS9 and years ago watching TNG, VOY and more recent years DIS, SNW, PIC and taking my time with LOW

I’ve resigned myself to watching Trek for the rest of my life. Neat thing about getting old is that you lose your memory so in a few years, I’ll be enjoying these shows again like I did the first time I watched them.

      Thanks for your comment

As a poor, I was very happy to find “free” (still gotta have a device and internet) streaming stations that are all Star Trek, all the time.

Leaving and need some sound for the doggo to drown out the neighbors and keep him from barking? Star Trek channel. Down and need something on to start drawing you outta your funk? Star Trek channel. Cooking, and kinda want to still watch something, but can’t fully pay attention? Star Trek channel. Tired of this Trek series and want to watch another? The other Star Trek channel. Pluto stations for sure, and also some others, Freevee, Tubi, Amazon channels, etc.

Can I be educated as to what Star Trek Returns is? Is it different to the 2013 to 2017 fan series Star Trek Continues?
