Summary

The Trump administration petitioned the Supreme Court to challenge federal judges’ rulings that it claims hinder presidential power, including cases on deportations, rehiring dismissed workers, and halted education grants.

Lower courts have repeatedly blocked Trump’s measures, including using the Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelans and banning transgender military service.

Appeals courts upheld injunctions against firing federal workers and freezing federal funding.

Meanwhile, a judge ordered federal agencies to preserve Signal messages related to a Yemen strike, following a lawsuit over potential records violations.

I wonder if the Supreme Court rules against him if he’ll have them deported by ICE.

He’s just doing literally the exact same thing every dictator in history has done to seize power out of a corrupted democracy… The parallels are loud and the future now is highly predictable.

Oh boy I remember the sense of sanity returning when Biden won the election, ending 4 years with Trump.
This time feels like it’s going to be way worse with Trump. We’ve only just started, and it’s already exhausting.

People are too asleep to realize what is coming; and the extremists are too empowered now to stop. Historically… We’re boned. Its past time to fight and now time to flee while that’s still an option.

When you know your parents are shitty people I suppose there’s no hesitation to run to mommy to support you, even when you know they know you’re wrong
