It’s the same. You turn it left to loosen the valve and get propane. Then right to close it.
The fittings on that valve are reverse thread. Lefty tighty righty loosy.

I like right hand rule. Thumb in direction you want the bolt to go, out or in. Fingers curve in the direction you need to turn.
