Costco Wholesale has major plans to add at least two more store locations in Metro Vancouver, but what sets one of these future locations apart is that it will feature a store concept unique to the region.
The region’s first Costco Business Centre is planned for New Westminster, catering specifically to business customers with bulk and specialized products, in contrast to the far more common Costco warehouses primarily tailored for everyday shoppers.
See…I’m conflicted about Costco. On the one hand, they’re American. So fuck’em. On the other hand, living in the UK means that the commonly available maple syrups, always labelled “Grade A - Canadian Made”, is watery garbage, and Costco is literally the only place I can get semi-decent maple syrup, or dozens of other Canadian Made products for a reasonable price while not giving Jeff Bozos more money…
Nice, as the nearest business centre was in Alberta.
