      It’s been frenchs ever since

Frenchs is an American company, but some of their products are made in Canada and/or use Canadian ingredients.

I was looking for mustard the other day, and skipped over all the Frenchs products. I ended up getting “Irrésistible Dijon Mustard” from Foodbasics. Canadian brand and a Product of Canada, so as good as it gets!

But it’s good to know what brands of Ketchup are Canadian. Hopefully, they use Canadian tomatoes, too!

French’s ketchup is made from tomatoes grown in Leamington, ON. It was a huge deal when Heinz pulled out from their plant there & then French’s bought it.

Yes, but still an American company. Since it looks like we have easy access to Canadian companies making ketchup in Canada using Canadian tomatoes, why not go the full Monty on this one? 😁

Jokes aside. If Frenchs is all you can get, nobody is going to be upset. Employing Canadians is still important.

Alternatively, it’s almost growing season, make your own from homegrown San Marzanos.
