Yeah, so regardless if the US actually does it or not, if I was Denmark and Canada, I would be investing heavily in defending territories marked by Putin.
It’s so weird that Putin would communicate his plan with Trump, but at least he did it and the rest of the world can predict what he will do next.
If Putin gains control of Canada and Greenland, the Artic becomes his “Panama Canal.”
Ukraine gives him more control over the black sea.
He’s trying to take control of trade routes.

As a Louisiana resident disgusted with what’s happening I make a solemn promise to the people of Greenland and Canada: when it gets below 40°F (4°C, 277K, 500° Rankine, etc.), I will just lay down and die before I fight someone. I was in Montreal in February once and I would have surrendered immediately had someone said the POW camp has mittens.
