I’m an Ontario resident, and I had been planing a trip to Alaska. For obvious reason, I’m re-routing to BC for glacier.

I have several doubts about this trip:

  1. As a first-time traveller for glacier, which park/route do you suggest?
  2. I’m not a fan of hiking. Can I stay on the driveway?
  3. I’m planning a 5-day trip. Is it too short?

Thank you!

Salmon glacier is absolutely incredible. Just north of Stewart BC. You have to drive through a short portion of Alaska but it’s not much of a border crossing, last time I went was just with a drivers licence lol. You can fly in to Terrace and a bit of a drive to Stewart. Super cool little village with some spectacular views. If you can afford it I’d highly recommend a helicopter tour.
