It really pisses me off how people in Lemmy.world are defending Gavin Newscom’s bs.

When Harris loudly stated how she wanted to increase funding to the military, put trans people in jails as the top cop of california, arrested people for cannabis, ignored the Mexicans in cages on the border, said Gaza wasn’t an issue, she was copying Republican actions and talking points.
Liberals think they are allies but actually fucking hate those they say they support. The only difference is a conservative loudly states they hate us, a liberal will say they support us as they go “Well we had to support the bills that banned you from bathrooms, we had to reach across the aisle. Forgive us next election?”
Maybe it’s worth giving him an earful about this? He said a lot of stuff about student athletes (Education Issues), prison treatment (Prison Issues), etc. and I bet his office would love to know how his podcast with Charlie Kirk is affecting his public image.
