I like Denji and Asa moments! I like how she was expecting him to not actually try to kill her so quickly.
Now, this transfer students can be many things. Death, Control or some other horseman. I mean, I leaning towards Death since it would feel weird for Control to comeback a 3rd time shortly after Nayuta’s “death” and another horseman would feel like the story is trying to pad out time for the actual Death.
As for Yoru’s Plan, I am pretty sure the whole killing Death thing is just so no one can die and those can create infinte conflict in the world which would inadvertently make her the most powerful devil that has been killed before.
Can’t wait to see where this goes!
Her dialogue didn’t feel like it would belong with the death devil, but I have a thought. We haven’t seen any devil show up really, except for war. What if all the horse men show up like was did? Possess a girl/woman who is close to dying. Then slowly take over. Yoru was in control for awhile, and it seemed hard for asa to come back this time. So maybe there is this girl in control, and death is hanging out inside of her.
That does sound like a compelling idea. It would be like a inverse of Asa maybe. When Asa was about to die in the beginning of Part 2, she said she wished she lived a little bit more selfishly and it is manifesting itself as Yoru having fun with Denji and causing chaos. Asa now realizes that maybe this isn’t wanted she wanted and this new character could be the inverse. This character is trying to help everyone and maybe Death promised to help them in their goal before they died as well.
I think the transfer student is the Death devil too.
They are so cuuuuuuuuuuuuute The imagery is so powerful as always, they both now seem so human and with such a strong emotional link it’s so beautiful I love it aaaaaaaaaaaaah
