Buying local produce is easy in the summer months, but all the kale, broccoli, and cauliflower in local stores now is from the US. Even bins marked USA or Mexico have American produce when you check the tiny labels. Does anyone have recommendations?
Costco is an American company but brings in well marked international products. I got lettuce from Canada, Raspberries from Mexico and Brocoli from South America. All 3 of those products were American at my local store.
Costco has stood up to the culture war in US, with refusing to back down on DEI hiring as a middle finger to Trump. They are the one American company I am open to continue supporting during this boycott, while making sure not to buy US products.
Thanks! Good to know.
You won’t get much local fruits in the winter nut Mexico is ok I think. I means it’s way better than the US.
There are greenhouse farmers that deliver all year long. In Quebec, we have Lufa farms, I’m sure there’s alternatives in the other provinces.
