The Trump administration finally named an official administrator of Elon Musk’s “Department of Government Efficiency” – and it turns out she’s in Mexico.
If someone can’t believe that the freshly appointed DOGE head is already on vacation, then they probably also can’t understand that DOGE doesn’t actually do real work or that they are just a front for an operation to disassemble US democratic institutions…
… sounds like a fun ride to work in the media but with no clue what’s going on.
I think she is basically a placeholder who has no real power.

AFAIK They are forced to make the decision whether it’s an advisory committee or an office of the White House cuz each comes with different rules and they violate all of them right now. This is all just a move to create confusion and to buy them more time before people can make a case, sue and stop them.
