This is a hell of a lot of inside baseball for those unfamiliar with German politics, so I’ll highlight this:

This is roughly in line with Holocaust denialism in the states in that age bracket from polls I’ve seen. We’re literally too far past WWII for young people to believe something that atrocious could happen, so they’re blithely voting for Nazism.
These are arbitrary age ranges anyway, but y’all are very precise with things, as is The Guardian here. It does not state that was their strongest cohort, merely that within this age range, they won.
