I understand what they’re going for but I really don’t like the American voices. I’d take an American doing a shitty Ukrainian accent over what they’re doing here.
Everything else looks like a STALKER game though which is promising.
There are likely language settings for Ukrainian voice actors. I used only the Russian language for Atomic Heart for the same reason. It just fits with the game world better.
I guess I liked that in previous STALKER games they spoke accented English when addressing the player but Ukrainian (or Russian?) the rest of the time, felt very immersive. I’d rather not have to read subtitles for all the dialogue and cutscenes.
I thought the exact same thing. And it’s that typical American lone wolf kinda voice. First thing I will do is get a mod that mutes him
If the plot was that he was an American way out of his depth and everyone else was Ukrainian who only spoke English to him that would work for me, but it sounds like everyone has an American accent and we’re just meant to pretend they’re not American.
