President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, during a closed-door meeting on Wednesday, rejected an offer by the Trump administration to relinquish half of the country’s mineral resources in exchange for U.S. support, according to five people briefed on the proposal or with direct knowledge of the talks.

Zelensky wasn’t intimidated by Putin when all seemed lost. Why would he bend for Putin-lite?
That was just the insincere offer of assistance before he turns on Ukraine more completely.
Europe will need to step up and Ukraine will need all the individual donations it can get.

After this, what is Trump negotiating about? According to previous statements US is now out and has zero cards to play in this shitshow and Trump will look weak if he now backs down on his threats.
