Yes that Millennium. It’s just one example of the many unfettered infills happening in Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe. It seems any open space is for apartments. Build it and they will come.

I’m pretty far from a NIMBY. I’m loving the Three Sisters downtown, I’m still mad at that lady’s tomatoes for bringing the building at the corner of Vaughan Harvey and Main from 10 floors to just 6, and I’m really excited for the 30-storey tower proposed for Main St.
All that being said, I hate these apartments on Millennium. They’re basically just far enough from downtown to make people living there essentially, need a car to live, and they had to cut down a bunch of trees in Centennial Park. I just don’t understand why this development exists when there’s empty lots and a massive lack of density in Moncton’s downtown. There’s so many better potential projects for the city than this.
