They left because their ad was featured next to Nazi content and could be misinterpreted.
Thankfully elon made the Nazi salute, so they don’t have to worry about ambiguity.
Disgusting. Apple, get your shit straight immediately, you fucks.
Jesus Divided by Zero Christ you’re the richest company in the galaxy! Fucking cunts.
Fucking Tim Apple.
I like to call him Tim Crook.
There’s no “crawling back like a dog”. If Apple had seen a serious hit after leaving and quickly came back, that would be crawling back, but this was 2 years ago. Nothing in this article suggests it either. This is a maga title.
They just started posting a few now, nothing big and nothing says they won’t remove them in the future. My guess is right now they are trying not to piss off the dictatorship.
Hmm I wonder if they’re afraid of Musk telling Trump to go after them if they don’t. Bending the knee to Trump I can see why, bending to Musk is a little different.
X is one of the most popular social media sites. It made no sense to pull advertisement in the first place, but even Apple makes business mistakes sometimes.
Watch out licking so much Nazi boot.
Well it wasn’t smart on their part to return because this one of the many reasons why I’m boycotting them after being an Apple fangirl.
Twitter made it one of the most popular social medias, it’s been all downhill from X.
It makes sense to pull advertisement you don’t want showing up next to nazi content. But now that nazi content is all the rage they won’t see as much backlash as when companies pretended to care. They stopped for 2 years without issue.
I don’t think Apple (and other companies) has returned because they want to advertise there, I think all major tech companies have been notified of what they must do to ‘kiss the ring’. This is like Disney removing the context warnings before some of their older movies. There’s no way that the Disney company decided all of a sudden to remove them without external pressure from the government. These companies know that they can’t fight this administration because they own all 3 branches of the government. The days when Microsoft could outspend the government in court is done, because now the president can just write an executive order. Congress doesn’t even need to pass laws, but if one is needed you know they’ll do whatever the administration says. And sure, companies can sue, but somehow they’ll always end up with a trump-friendly judge.
Anyway, all that to say that I do believe that corporations are evil and suck, but I don’t think this was actually a marketing decision.
