U.S. President Donald Trump signed an order Saturday that places 25% tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico and 10% tariffs on goods from China, the White House said.

Many of us are well aware it’ll raise the cost of goods, and not just imports. Any domestic competitors that don’t raise priced by say, 20% and 7%, is leaving money on the table and will get sued by their share holders.
I’m not saying I like that fact, but it just is.
How many consumer goods are even made in the US besides food? I know we do make some things, but 90% of the stuff at Walmart is imported crap.
I use Walmart as the example since that’s where most of the GOP voter base lives and breathes.
A handful of cars and large equipment? Realistically the only reason we’ve been a superpower this long is because of the deal with Saudi to install the Petro dollar. Republicunts don’t understand how fragile this shit is.
