Sounds like one use-case of for same-sex couples to have biological children together. Which is pretty neat IMHO!

Not to say that the more macabre use cases don’t exist, of course.

Great. Now the billionaire class can just make their lil workers en masse without any need for the plebs. What a fucking timeline.

We still need humans for nine months to carry them to term, but I won’t be surprised if there are people looking into a technological “solution” to that.

You ever see the movie ‘Bone Tomahawk’? Anyone who’s seen it will know exactly where your comment made my mind go. Go watch it at least for this context.

Either a technological solution or paying people to carry the baby and then the company takes custody after that. Either way very dystopian.

It is exactly this. Leave it to Musk, Bezos, and Zuck to read these dystopian novels and think, “Wow, what a beautiful future. Let’s build that!”

They won’t need AI to replace everybody, just test tube babies cultivated for one specific task: compliance.

      Edit: Autocomplete was incorrect.

…could pave the way for same-sex couples to have biological children together.

As usual, it sounds like the technology could be used for genuinely good things.

It could be used for horrible things too, yes, but that’s often how it goes.
