If it is possible I would like to have an option when i block an instance to only block communities or to block communities and comments made by people on that instance.
For example: I’d like to block porn instances but I wouldn’t mind seeing comments made by their users in other communities. It is possible to show the comments regardless by pressing a button but pressing it every time…
Wondering the same thing. I blocked some foreign instances to clean up my “all” feed but those users interact with English instances and I’d love to see their comments automatically. The option to block seeing posts from a community sounds ideal.

Is this separate from the “Blocked Instances includes comments” setting?
Maybe they want a different choice per instance. Edit: on second read, they’re just not aware of the setting.
