    LLMs don’t verify their output is true. Math is something where verifying its truth is easy. Ask an LLM how many Rs in strawberry and it’s plain to see if the answer is correct or not. Ask an LLM for a summary of Columbian history and it’s not as apparent. Ask an LLM for a poem about a tomato and there really isn’t a wrong answer.

      Yeah, it’s like what you’d hear from a human who’s completely detached from reality and logic, and just makes stuff up on the fly. Like a senile grandpa, except unfailingly polite.

      I fail to see why everybody thinks there’s trillions of dollars to be made from this. As far as I know, there is no market for the ravings of senile grandpas, no matter how polite.
