President-elect Donald Trump wouldn’t rule out a war with the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) and a hostile takeover of Greenland, owned by Denmark, during a press conference Tuesday.

Jesus Christ on a cracker! “Panama canal should’ve never been built”, “economic security”. How, HOW, did this sundowner retirement home escapee convince people, so many people, to vote for him? He can’t string along a coherent sentence. I don’t understand it. It’s baffling. Anyone who listens to his rambling, imagination-filled fish stories should be able to tell that he’s not well, lying to your face, and generally shouldn’t be allowed to be in charge of a side-of-the-road lemonade stand, much less the president of the states.

It’s because far more people than you realized are within the goldilocks zone of the necessary ratios of ignorant/selfish/hateful to allow or even wish for someone exactly like this.

It’s a fucking depressing realization. Ask me how I know.

This is just an example of a reporter manufacturing a headline. Everyone knows Trump will never rule out military action in literally any situation (ruling out military action is for pussies) so any reporter can ask him “will you rule out military action in order to ___” and the answer is always no, and they get the headline they want. Trump is a moron but the press love him, for this reason.

The next 4 years is going to consist of Trump loudly shouting nonsense, the press eating it up, and the GOP doing all sorts of horrendous but far more consequential stuff in the background.

I refuse to commit to not doing a naked cartwheel in Trump’s living room.

That doesn’t mean I’m going to be able to do it.
