Despite being the stuff of nightmares, Santa continues to be the world’s most popular home intruder.

Charlie Brooker and Diane Morgan fucking kill me whenever they work together. His writing and her delivery as Cunk just kill me.

Yes, folks, all the Cunk specials are written by Black Mirror head writer and creator, Charlie Brooker.

Looking forward to Cunk’s Quest for Meaning (which looks like it got renamed Cunk on Life in the last 10 months), looks like it’s hitting BBC’s iPlayer on December 31st and Netflix on January 2nd. Ringing in the new year with Cunk sounds grand to me.

I miss all of his various “wipe” shows. I need more Charlie Brooker that isn’t Black Mirror (and I love it too).

Hey, at least we got the Antiviral Wipe during the pandemic!

I actually really miss his police procedural sendup series A Touch of Cloth starring John Hannah.

I still periodically think of his “happy birthday twice” hand washing thing and can’t help but laugh.

Asking “Can I call you Brian, or do you prefer Cox” with a straight face is peak British comedy.

I absolutely hate the Santa story. it basically tells poor kids they are fundamentally bad and at the same time takes credit away from hard working parents. we treat Santa like the Christmas mascot but have never credited him with bringing presents. that story is garbage.

My parents always told me that “Santa is the guy who gives out lollies at the shops”. I always knew that parents gave the gifts.
