I tend to believe what’s the point of not doing something you like for the chance of living just a bit longer in a world that now is less enjoyable. I keep telling my Dr why the fuck do I want to live longer if I cant enjoy desert,

For me I reduced the amount of bad food I eat but instead of eliminating it entirely, I just made it into a treat where I get really good quality “bad” foods less often.

Fast food and grocery store meat? All crap. Get the best quality meat from a local butcher. Yeah it costs a lot more, but the point is to eat less and enjoy that small amount even more. Same with sweets, alcohol, etc.

That’s a slippery slope fallacy as healthy food can be just as tasty. Fresh grapes taste better than chocolate bars imo.

I agree grapes are good, but better than chocolate, sorry, don’t get me wrong, there are great tasting healthy foods, but what I was saying was just a general example.
