I just started watching 86 and after watching the end of ep 3 I have to wonder if humanity is doomed to repeat the mistake of harming those who would help us.

Some might see kindness as pity and sympathy but is that because we can no longer see each other as fellow humans and only as enemies?

I’m very curious as to how the rest of the anime continues but I’m gonna have to take a break for a while cause that ending was both tragic and emotionally disgusting/devastating.

    Oh, I love 86, but it is very emotionally intense. You’re in for one wild ride. But don’t worry, it’s not all downers. Hedgehog dilemma is definitely an appropriate metaphor.

    I have yet to watch 86. I know I will love it, but I have been trying to convince my wife to watch it with me. We are slowly working through the new season of Kenshin and Natsume right now though. Maybe someday.
