I honestly don’t hate the idea of that. Obsidian’s style is far more novelistic, and this format of game is best when it’s just putting you inside a good story.

Tainted Grail is another first-person fantasy RPG similar in feel to Elder Scrolls. It’s still in early access though, so maybe that’s why no one is talking about it.
