I draw! 😊
That is really cool and slightly terrifying.
Hehe, thank you! 😃
What in the goddamn
😂 It’s the adult form of my biblically accurate angel OC, Goodie! He’s not a bad guy, just a tad mischievous… here’s an old drawing I did of his larval form! 😃 Full resolution drawing here Progress pictures here
i love him
I post on Lemmy lots like you do ;)
:)
Yes
Play video games, read, do chores, play with my dog
Never am.
I also basically never get bored. If I am put into a situation that other people would find boring, I tend to get lost in my thoughts or daydream.
If that’s not an option, I often find that I don’t get bored even just doing simple tasks that others would find boring.
The only time I ever generally feel bored is if I am somehow required to do a truly mind numbing task, like wait for something to happen, and I am forcing myself to pay attention.
Same. Too little time and so much to do
Usually play guitar, play around in blender, or code. It sounds backward, but boredom does wonders for my creative side.
when i get to the point i think i am bored i think “maybe i am tired?” or “maybe i am hungry” or “maybe i need to unwind?” and it is surely one of those.
afaik, never really experienced pure boredom.
Skim Lemmy and now Bluesky, play solitaire games, watch videos, go for a walk, contemplate the meaninglessness of existence, write, play video games, work (if I’m at work)
It sorta depends. One of the toughest things is when im waiting on things and could be disrupted at any moment. So sometimes I don’t want to get into a show or video game which are my go to. I oftentimes try to get tasks done like dishes or laundry.
Smoke or read, sometimes both in the case of doom scrolling.
I also listen to podcasts and go for bikerides (with a destination in mind like food) currently one known as fall of civilizations has my attention
I sleep. It’s the closest to be distant from the boredom of existence.
Satisfactory recently took over my free time. ALL of it.
Otherwise I have coding projects, CAD/printing projects, electronics projects, D&D session planning, and (of course) Lemmy/Mastodon.
Listen to a record, read (books, comics, articles, anything), walk, watch TV, cook, text a friend, maybe even play a level of Portal or a word game, or just lie down if that’s the mood.
i feel like only people with too much free time get bored
Lemmy, play games, listen to music, learn music,
