If your country spends a great deal of it’s time, energy and resources into normalizing, accepting and allowing complete nut jobs, entertainers, charlatans and sociopaths to dominate the national discourse and give them all a platform to be able to speak to everyone in the nation and also give them multi million dollar marketing and advertising for years … eventually you’ll indoctrinate the entire (or most) of the country with nonsense.

This is a problem that the US created and wanted for itself.
