Just wait for the inevitable “men should get to vote for their wives” so that can’t happen again.

“men should get to vote for their wives” = “Let’s promote mail in voting! Who cares about voting privacy, it’s easier, thus we will get a higher turnout!”

Oh is this the new angle the GOP is trying? How about a guaranteed voting location for every X citizens? No more hours long line in cities, and no more voting location at every retirement home. How about a national holiday for Election Day?

They do have more to lose. Look at how fast the Taliban took over Afghanistan when the US left. We should have trained their women to be in the military instead of their men. I doubt the women would have just gave up.

That’s a shit take and you know it. The Taliban isn’t something that they let win because they weren’t motivated enough. The Taliban was better funded and better organized than the government army.

Pray they vote like it come next week. CNN was interviewing undecided black men in Clayton County, GA a Biden stronghold and some were saying “women are emotional” and “I don’t think women are great leaders”

Ladies need to outvote the machismo men who have a masculine ego to uphold for some reason

Oh god, I lived with a closeted white nationalist for a bit there. Every post date discussion was a fuck load of complaining about how he needs to “keep his political points of view to himself”

He would go on and on about how feminism has brain washed an entire generation, or about how queer-folk “wouldn’t exist if this made up nonsense didn’t spread” (Which he only bothered to mention because I was dating an ace woman in a “she’ll stop this behavior soon” kinda way)

It was crazy man, like, I’m a moron that takes a few tries to get introspection right, but the dood was out of his fucking gourd when it came to his “relationship “ with women.

When he lost the election to Biden, I went from disappointed that he wouldn’t ever see equal justice, to disappointed that not only is he running again, but somehow has a chance of winning again.

At this point, I’m just stocking up on ammo.

I’ve been saying since trump was elected the first time, it will get really ugly before this can be put behind us. I thought Jan6th was that point; unfortunately that wasn’t low enough. I don’t know how things are going to play out, but I don’t think we’ve hit the sobering bottom and am preparing for the worst.

We still have people praising those who fought to keep slavery in the civil war. Trump and other Republicans just did a wishdotcom nazi rally.

I just wanna be left alone, man. I keep to myself, I keep my head down, I don’t stir the pot by placing political signs or anything. I don’t have anything to prove to anyone. But likewise, I’m going to protect my rights as well.

I am in the demographic that will be empowered and protected under a Trump presidency and it makes me sick. I cannot sit idly by and let the rights, safety, and freedoms I will continue to enjoy be stripped from all the other groups under Trump that aren’t white men. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

For as long as the current constitution holds up and the judicial system doesn’t become more partial. In the MAGA vision, only cisgendered, straight, right-wing, Christian, white men would be allowed to defend themselves.

A mid-October poll by Fairleigh Dickinson University found that Trump’s appeal is rooted in voters’ perceptions of his masculinity.

That is beyond disturbing, in every possible way.

He doesn’t seem masculine at all. I don’t get it. He doesn’t go fishing, he doesn’t go hunting, he whines and bitches about everything, I’ve never seen him chop wood, fix something around the house, or work on an engine, and I couldn’t imagine him ever grilling on the back porch or building anything at all.

He’s a soft handed elite who has never put in a day’s work, and his only hobbies are eating fast food and bitching. He’s weak. He’s sad. He has no masculinity.

I work with people who would call themselves masculine in our company’s management. They think they’re masculine because they follow sports. I think they’re quite efete myself. I hunt, fish, shoot guns, backpack camp, they all tell me it would be too much for them. I don’t consider myself extremely masculine, I have a wide range of hobbies, shit I have two glitter drawers and drag supplies.

You and I would be friends. I’ve got a wide range of hobbies as well, starting with all the masculine ones you listed and ending with sewing, baking, cooking, and crocheting. I also do woodwork, build instruments, work on vehicles, and play music of all kinds. If I thought for one second that you could glitter bomb one of the guitars I built without that stuff getting all over my house I’d mail it to you because I think that looks cool as fuck.

I am not a sports guy myself, but I don’t begrudge anyone their favorite teams (anymore, I was wildly against it in my youth because I was forced to participate).

I also learned a long time ago that I don’t need to be masculine or anti-masculine. If I’m doing my own thing, making myself happy, and not hurting other people then I couldn’t give the slightest shit what someone else thinks.

I can explain it. The explanation is that his voters have been led to believe that masculinity is under attack and that they should defend it. Trump claims he defends it. Therefore to his voters, Trump, without exhibiting any strong masculine characteristics, represents masculinity.
