You know who also had huge crowds? Bernie Sanders, it did not bring enough people out to vote. So please fucking vote! Vote like our lives depend on it because they fucking do. If Trump wins America is done for it will be the end.

        I prefer Dallying Donnie.

Works on multiple levels… kept his supporters waiting, and the long line of indiscretions….

If it was really a Beyonce concert, then it appears Beyonce fans all support Harris for president? Because I don’t usually see that type of banner/headwear at music concerts. So congrats, republicans, at getting 30,000 people at a Beyonce concert to rally behind the Democrats… in Texas.

Trump campaign communications director Steven Cheung argued in a post to X, formerly Twitter, that the event was really “a Beyonce concert,”

You picked right up on that marching order, didn’t ya.
Guess you need to latch on to something since neither Cheeto benito or kid-rock can draw crowds like that…

The more interesting story imho, was that the don was 3 hours late to his preorganised rally and didn’t tell them until it started because he did the joe Rogan show instead

So everyone was standing out in the cold, and would have been pissed off to get that message.

Just a huge amount of disrespect for his own followers who would have been pissed off to discover they put in the effort to rally for him for nothing

At least when he played his video where he implies they’re not important, lots of people got the hint and started leaving

I do suspect that some may have gotten the hint this time.

Also, jeezus don, when you’re going to fuck over your attendees, get someone else to write your “apology” (I use the word loosely because it was really a f u video)

I’m not sure. But, he played this shit video

        https://youtu.be/x3kbzl8u-pQ?si=EYr6-7KVRiLlcYJR

In this case, he knew he’d be late hours before and had ample opportunities to tell people. He implies the joe Rogan show is more important than them and he needed to do it so he could be winning

I really hope his followers got the message and no longer attends his rallies or at least changes their votes

Trump, who frequently touts his rally crowd sizes and has claimed without evidence that Harris uses artificial intelligence to boost her crowd numbers, was also in Texas on Friday. He reportedly spoke to a far more modest crowd of around 100 supporters in Austin before recording a podcast interview with Joe Rogan.

“Harris headlined a jam-packed event, attended by around 23,000 people in Clarkston, Georgia, on Thursday night, beating out her campaign’s previous attendance record of about 17,000 in Greensboro, North Carolina, last month.”

That really isn’t anything to brag about.

Bernie Sanders 2015 - 19,000 people inside the arena, 9,000 lined up outside unable to get in, and that was still in the primary.

Barack Obama 2008, 75,000. Still the primary.

Bernie would have taxed and regulated the media and it’s owners. The coverage disparity is intentional.

What we need is a president to pull a bait and switch. Gotta play the long game though.

Kamala got so many donations she literally can’t spend it all before election day. Next best thing? Get more democrats elected at the state level so we can get good bills actually passed.

Maybe then we can start fixing shit.

Newsweek - News Source Context (Click to view Full Report)

    Information for Newsweek:

Wiki: reliable - There is consensus that articles from Newsweek pre-2013 are generally reliable for news covered during that time. In 2011, Newsweek was a reputable magazine with only some minor problems while it was owned by The Newsweek Daily Beast Company (which also owned The Daily Beast). Blogs under Newsweek, including The Gaggle, should be handled with the WP:NEWSBLOG policy. See also: Newsweek (2013–present).
Wiki: mixed - Unlike articles before 2013, Newsweek articles since 2013 are not generally reliable. From 2013 to 2018, Newsweek was owned and operated by IBT Media, the parent company of International Business Times. IBT Media introduced a number of bad practices to the once reputable magazine and mainly focused on clickbait headlines over quality journalism. Its current relationship with IBT Media is unclear, and Newsweek’s quality has not returned to its status prior to the 2013 purchase. Many editors have noted that there are several exceptions to this standard, so consensus is to evaluate Newsweek content on a case-by-case basis. In addition, as of April 2024, Newsweek has disclosed that they make use of AI assistance to write articles. See also: Newsweek (pre-2013).
