October 7 proved the necessity of building a fence to try to prevent Hamas from doing cross border raids and also proved the necessity of a blockade to prevent them from getting weapons. Obviously the fence wasn’t effective, but arguing against efforts to prevent Hamas from crossing into Israel and killing people is not something any rational person would continue to do.
