Republicans are not going to accept the election results unless they win, are they?

I mean, hasn’t that been evident since January 6th, 2021? When nothing was really done in response, this was a given outcome. It nearly worked before, so why not try again? Haven’t numerous loser Republican candidates screamed “rigged” non-stop since then?

Just like how DHS was found to be trying to create terrorist groups out of nothing for Trump, it’s pretty clear that large parts of the administrative state will just bend over and start enforcing fascism because it “won.” The few people who would resist will quickly be replaced.

There needs to be consequences for them delaying and fucking up any counts. Make it so these rules come with punishments for the board if they’re can’t effectively conduct an election.

Even Brad Raffensperger, their own Republican Secretary of State, said that it would introduce “the opportunity for error, lost or stolen ballots, and fraud.” It’s unreal.

Can’t the Federal government regulate how Federal elections are handled?

Yes, there’s the Constitution’s Election Clause regarding congressional elections.

We need to get a plan B going - we’ve got to organize enough folks that a hand count could actually be completed in Georgia before this year’s Dec 17 deadline.
