Oof. I don’t love the liberal government or anything, but I’ve got a feeling I’ll miss them when we’re under the conservatives.

My bank account is missing Harper, I doubt it’ll miss Trudeau.

What did Harper do to make your bank account happy? Please refer to specific policies.

I never said he made my bank account happy, I said my bank account misses him, ex. things were a lot better for me financially under Harper than they have been under Trudeau, even excluding Covid

Name specific policies. Otherwise, I dunno man, maybe you quit a good job or something.

My taxes are higher and the value of my dollar has greatly reduced under Trudeau… not sure what else there is to explain.

One thing Trudeau took away before my bank account even had a chance to be happy about it was the spousal income splitting.

The recent inflation is a global phenomenon and is not limited to Canada, and thus it is very unlikely caused by Trudeau. We don’t have that level of global economic influence yet.

Hm, sure taxes went up in that sense, but ultimately they funded some good social programs, such as universal daycare, expanded dental care etc. Plus the whole CERB thing during the pandemic. So, you know, the overall bottom line is not as clear cut. Unless we’re talking about your particular account.

I don’t know is any political party talking about bringing back the spousal split? All I’ve heard from Bitcoin Trump-lite is the “axe the tax” nonsense about the carbon tax.

They’re way better than the liberals in my book because they have actually voted in favour of proportional representation.
