There’s a dairy farm somewhat close to me that let’s you pet the cows and watch them get milked. It’s pretty cool.

There’s conventions for that, you just need to bring your own costume.
- Cows don’t make extra milk, you have to take their baby’s from them and then take that milk.
- Cows need to be impregnated constantly to keep milk flow.
Its possible theres an ethical dairy farm but ive yet to see one.

Given the number of deer that I have seen absolutely total a car/ semi, bounce down the road, stagger to their feet and bound into the forest, I don’t think there needs to be a might in that sentence. Deer only weigh about 400 pounds, and they regularly live through car accidents. The cow is just gonna moo at you.

A good rancher is usually the indirect cause of their cows giving birth because they determine when mating occurs.
It wasn’t sheer coincidence that so many cows had calves in the same 48-hour period. Dude planned it that way by mating (or artificially inseminating) all of his heifers at the same time.

Well this post is 5 years old, and there aren’t newer posts since 2021 since poster passed away, so I dont know for sure they are abusing animals, but the idea is that calves are separated from their mothers within the first few days usually. Its a traumatic experience for the baby and the mother.
The cow was forcibly impregnated which is pretty rough but thats a different issue.
