Can’t remember which brand it was, I think it was ASUS, that all the routers my company when I was working as an installer for an ISP used as the default for the customers had default admin passwords like “FuzzyWombler.” Just combination of (cutesy word)(nonsense word.)

A company I worked with used that method as serial number denotion for industrial units

Nothing like replacing the material extruder on GloriousGriffith and the mainboard on HappyTrombone

Thanks PugJesus. And for those of us who haven’t done Latin this millennium, can you provide a translation?

“For the health of our lords, Lucius Septimius Severus Pertinax and Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Augustus Caesars. Quintus Anicius Faustus, by decree of the governors, provided this.”

Something along these lines. Not 100% sure on Anicius though

Hah, yeah, I’m afraid my Latin isn’t proficient enough to provide a translation even if the meaning was the joke. XD

I think it’s kinda funny that 20 years ago people just didn’t have passwords for their wifi. Not everyone, but every time i moved i just used random wifi for a few month because i was too lazy to deal with my ISP

It’s because I don’t want to be judged by my choice of password or network name.
