“I didn’t know that this was something that happened to everyday people”

Look, disgusting what happened to her but she’s in politics in her early 20’s. This is the type of thing you’re going to have to put up with and is hardly unexpected unless she lives under a rock. Which is a whole other concern with her being a young female politician ostensibly representing women who have faced this and worse domestic violence/harassment situations.

Politics is disgusting and it’s a good chance her political rivals were behind this.

The pictures aren’t you though and for anyone that matters they’ll realise that. In any case, why is it the worse thing in the world to have a naked picture on the internet?

American puritanical culture is insane and women who give this exact reaction are not helping.

They thought they could shame me into silence but I will not be distracted from X policy issue or feel ashamed about any women’s body who has been illegally used for this purpose. Clearly my political opponents are scared because if they had an actual argument against my policies they’d say so without resorting to anonymous attacks on the internet. They are cowards.

Is a far more compelling and empowering argument than “‘anonymous people on the internet said bad things about me and doctored some images’ - I’m a politician feel bad for me.”
