I knew a girl from Australia. She was cute.

She was working in the US, doing marketing in some kind of role where she would do drafting and laying out of materials, and she was working late so her and some guy coworker of hers were the only ones in the office. They were both separately working quietly for quite some time, and then she needed an eraser and didn’t have one, and looked up and asked him, “Do you have a rubber?”

She didn’t understand, at the time, why he got flustered and had trouble with the question.

Aren’t these some particularly good erasers?
