“Don’t toy with me Nagatoro” and “Uzaki chan wants to hang out” are the 2 middle ones

From what a group I watch on yt have said, it seems like my gen and younger don’t even have a favorite Adam Sandler film. Pretty sure they’re millennials, so there’s pretty much no doubt they know their Adam Sandler films.

Don’t remember the video, but it kinda make me sad considering he’s more or less a campy film legend, minus a few less campy films like Click that I personally couldn’t consider quite campy and instead more on the line of family friendly horror.

What do the right and left have to do with each other aside from being in the same meme together?

I don’t know any of the anime but my best guess is that the anime are in the same genre of as the Adam Sandler movies to their left. The idea is that Adam Sandler movies are full of sex “jokes” but the anime is the only one that gets dismissed for that.

It doesn’t make too much sense. I mean, the meme defeats itself as all the anime covers have little girls on them and I’ve seen enough anime to know what sort of sex “jokes” the animes make compared to the Adam Sandler movies. Maybe the meme is self aware of that idk.

I kinda agree that the bakemonogatari anime was horny for no reason, but the books weren’t afaicr.

I think I watched it like 10 years ago but I really don’t remember it being all that horny in general. There were some parts it was excessive. Might just be that it’s been so long though.

Just random fan service out of nowhere, periodically. Iirc. It has also been a long time for me.

I would argue that because is a harem anime that it always has a current of fan service by definition.

Edit: Nvm, I take it back. Pandering isn’t really the same thing as fan service and that’s what I’m really talking about above.

I suppose it is kind of a harem anime. It didn’t really feel like it when reading the light novels, but in retrospect it is kinda there. Well that’s unfortunately colored my memories of the novels. Can I go back to a few minutes ago before you made me realize this?

I’m sorry. It honestly ruined the show for me as soon as I noticed. When I first started watching it I was so excited to meet all kinds of varied people, especially from the MCs past, but once I got to Nadeko Snake I was like, “O, it’s waifus all the way down.”

It’s really too bad, because yokai/folklore themed anime/manga is exactly my jam. Ugh why are animes and manga always so damn horny.

I’ve had to switch almost entirely to Korean manhwa for my comic fix.
