I’m sure this won’t go anywhere but let’s get this party started. Accepting large amounts of solicited or unsolicited gifts, particularly by invested parties, is highly unethical. SCOTUS is the highest court in the land and must be held to a higher standard than other courts, not a lower standard. This is an appropriate response to the news of Thomas and Alito accepting millions of dollars in gifts from people with interests before the court. Failing to recuse themselves from relevant cases and report the gifts is absolutely grounds for impeachment.
