Who still believes the pier was meant to be anything but an expensive public relations distraction at best.

Do not forget that the US also used this pier to station 1000 military personnel. So in my eyes this was just a pretext to deploy those people on the ground.

I have to find it but I read something that mentioned that the pier was to be used to displace Palestinians in the future.

I do. They are delivering hundreds of tons of aid, even if netanyahu and the IDF are being real pieces of s*** about letting it get delivered.

It helps biden’s image, but to call it a “public relations distraction at best” is absurdly narrow-minded and dismissive.

Is this the same Biden who told us last October that he saw photos of beheaded babies? The same government that continues to evade calling this what it is: a genocide? The same one that continues providing the materiel for this genocide, which could not continue without it? Keep on drinking the Kool-Aid.

Uh, yeah it’s the same president.

          It’s only been 8 months.

          So you’re like, super uninformed?

Guess your little inaccurate tantrum bears that out.

Just to blast apart your irrelevances there, 1) Biden admitted that he was wrong about the babies as soon as he found out he was wrong about the babies due to faulty intelligence. 2) With complete non-involvement from the US, israel has enough other allies and stockpiled ammunitions to have started and continue this genocide for years(as they have been doing for the last half century); the fact that you don’t know this bears out your ignorance and renders your plaintive cries immaterial.

I know you feel safe on the bandwagon, but you might want to read a little before you start making things up.

            It’s only been 8 months.

How is that in any way relevant?

Guess your little inaccurate tantrum bears that out.

            jagoff

            1. Biden admitted that he was wrong about the babies as soon as he found out he was wrong about the babies due to faulty intelligence.

He admitted that he had lied about having seen images of beheaded babies once it became impossible to lie about anymore. The fact that he walked back a lie doesn’t change the fact that he lied.

            1. With complete non-involvement from the US, israel has enough other allies and stockpiled ammunitions to have started and continue this genocide for years

I guess the US is supplying weapons of mass destruction right now for no reason at all then, including illegal ones like the white phosphorous bombs Israel is using. And I guess the US protected Israel from the Iranian attack a few weeks ago for no particular reason, because Israel doesn’t actually need any such military support. Time: How the U.S. Rallied to Defend Israel From Iran’s Massive Attack

Also, what other allies do imagine Israel has right now that are willing to supply genocidal materiel?

I know you feel safe on the bandwagon, but you might want to read a little before you start making things up.

jagoff You might stop your hasbara gish gallop.

The faulty intelligence of… Doctored images?

You’re telling me that someone doctored images of beheaded babies to show Biden?

Just fyi, it wasn’t just Biden who was lead to believe that: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/3/21/october-7-forensic-analysis-shows-hamas-abuses-many-false-israeli-claims

But the investigation by the I-Unit, which examined hours of footage from CCTV, dashcams, personal phones and headcams of killed Hamas fighters, has also found that many of the stories that came out in the days following the attack were false.

These include claims of atrocities such as the mass killing and beheading of babies as well as allegations of widespread and systematic rape – stories that were used repeatedly by politicians in Israel and the West to justify the ferocity of the subsequent bombardment of the Gaza Strip, which has so far killed nearly 32,000 people. ‘Cannot tell whether they are gunmen or hostages’

After a thorough analysis of all available data, the I-Unit concluded that claims by the Israeli army that it found eight burned babies at a house in Kibbutz Be’eri were untrue. The analysis found that there were no babies in the house, and the 12 people inside were almost certainly killed by Israeli forces when they stormed the building.

This was one of a number of incidents where the police and army appear to have killed Israeli citizens. The I-Unit identified 19 such victims, but the true figure is likely to be higher. It also identified 27 captives who died between their homes and the Gaza fence in circumstances that have not been explained.

Can’t find the article at the moment, but there was another one where they interviewed 2 of the civilians pushing the sexual violence and dead babies myths; 1 was truly reticent and ashamed of what he said happened after being shown evidence to the contrary and the other gentleman was a racist zionist who refused to change his story when confronted with facts and evidence.

TLDR: Israelis who witnessed the aftermath of the Oct 7th attack were provided further info about their claims being wrong, 1 tries to right his wrong, the other holds onto the false tale because he a zionist. A lot of false info was going around in the beginning due to the chaos that had not been properly vetted or verified by intelligence and reporting agencies. Not saying people weren’t sexually abused, because lets be honest, men are garbage and there’s a good percentage of men who would sexually assault if they knew there would be no consequences.

N.B. I am not a fan of the European, Zionist invaders given territory out of white guilt nor the dumb pigs that want to kill others because of the wrong imaginary friend or shade of brown skin.

That article doesn’t say anything about doctored images of beheaded babies…

Yes it was widely repeated by a complicit media apparatus and the political class that supports Israel. That doesn’t even mean it was believed.

In addition, after Biden claimed to have seen evidence, his staff almost immediately jumped in to later clarify that he had not. The most likely explanation is that Biden is a senile rabid Zionist who is only vaguely aware of what is happening and just repeats the same patterns he has held to for decades.

The US could force open Southern Gaza borders any time he wanted to using diplomacy alone. The border where Israeli citizens are preventing and destroying aid. The border where aid shipments have arrived for years and where there is an efficient system for delivery.

Building a temporary pier is not a serious attempt to deliver aid. Nor was airdropping big boxes, at least one of which killed someone. They are PR and a cover for small-scale military entry and egress.

They are delivering hundreds of tons of aid,

Are they? AFAIK the pier was a failure as soon as it started operating, and if the IDF isn’t letting aid get delivered then what was even the point?

      It’s literally in the article:

…the U.S. announced on May 28 that it had suspended operations so repairs could be made.

The United Nations said on Friday it had still not resumed transportation of aid from the pier to U.N. World Food Programme warehouses.

Fixed it for a little while so they could use it as as military outpost for the hostage rescue-massacare. Bonus war crime points for hiding IDF soldiers in aid trucks for the ambushes.

It should be noted that the evidence there is that a helicopter involved in the raid took off from a beach near the pier. So slim to none. And it doesn’t even make sense, how would the pier be useful for a military operation?
