I hate this debate because it’s generally correct that we need to enforce environmental regs and make companies clean up their mess, but lumping all PFAS into one boogeyman makes my eyes roll back into my head. PFOA and PTFE are both PFAS, the former is a strong carcinogen and should be avoided at all costs while the latter is just chemically inert Teflon.
