Obviously I’ve seen signs at other Beaches (namely, Basin head) about how you can’t be at it and what not, but it’s news to me that anyone actually enforces those signs.

These people sound like a bunch of killjoys to me. Although, I don’t have specific knowledge about Cove Head.
