The human body is just as frail as it was 1000 years ago. Thankfully life generally isn’t quite as rough and dangerous as it was back then though, plus modern medicine has mostly eradicated many of the world’s most deadly diseases. So yes, thankfully people are a lot less likely to die of premature unnatural causes.
But let’s think further into this, why do they really keep increasing the life expectancy beyond where it is today? It’s not like they’ve managed to stop or reverse aging you know. You’re still gonna get old and likely senile, and your organs are still gonna wear out and eventually stop working.
But hey, if they keep increasing the life expectancy, they can keep increasing the retirement age, up until the point that nobody can retire and everyone has to keep working all the way to their grave. ⏱️👶🧑🧓💀
Would be more interesting to see life expectancy given the person reached age 10 or something.
