      I once did the math. Given the strength of natural rope and the thousands of people they had working, they could have put the stones on hundreds of ropes, lifted them, and walked to the pyramid.

      The myths come from 18th century Western intellectuals who couldn’t fathom that 2,500 BC Egyptians were more organized than they were.

      I’ll bite. Assuming there was a way to get a block that big above a group of peoples heads. A 1m x 1m x 2m block of sandstone weighs 400kg. The front block in this picture looks to be 3m x 3m x 6m carried by roughly 32 men, meaning each man is holding above their heads 337 kg.
