Well, they think the Magna Carta is relevant to a lot of things in the US in 2024, so I guess that all tracks.

I kinda feel sorry for this guy. Based on the grammar in the image I’m pretty sure he’s a non-english speaker.

So I’m guessing he’s some immigrant trying to make his way in a foreign country. But when he looked online for tax information he got sucked into the Sovcit griftosphere, and now he’s trying file his taxes with with what amounts to flat earth arguments.

You’d be surprised how many native English speakers write more like first graders. Non native speakers might use more simple language but are often more rigorous in writing accurately, or at least coherently.

The number of times I’ve seen a post on the internet preemptively appologize for their poor English and then be three paragraphs of impeccable grammar and spelling is beyond counting.

I don’t see anything here worthy of sympathy. So he came to another country and immediately fell for the idea of subverting their legal system? Douchebags are douchebags, borders have nothing to do with that

I work at a library and we provide a lot of tax forms. Too often people take one of everything and I just know they don’t know what they’re doing.
